As an avid trail runner and occasional backpacker, my artwork is heavily influenced by those experiences spent outside. Growing up in western Pennsylvania, I was constantly outdoors and still love to explore this beautiful state, but my true love is the big mountains out west. There is something magical about standing on the summit of a big mountain all alone. It's a feeling and perspective that I try to convey in my work. The outdoor community is now the main focus of my art and I have met some great people along the way. Becoming a full-time artist was really never my plan, but over the years I just kept developing my skills, exploring new ideas and learning how to support myself from painting. My art is created using coffee, watercolor and pens and continues to evolve each year. I truly love the freedom and flexibility I now have as an artist.
